1906: Brush Arbor
In 1906 a small group of people began a church in a brush arbor, basically a thatched-roof structure without walls, near what is now the intersection of Bowen Road and Park Row in Pantego, a small town between Ft. Worth and Arlington.

Soon After: The Tabernacle
A short time later, the brush arbor was replaced to have a structure featuring a more permanent roof, but still, no walls. This structure was called the Tabernacle.
