Dr. David Daniels | Senior Pastor , ext. 124
David Daniels has served as PBC's Senior Pastor since 2005. Prior to his call here, he served as Senior Pastor at CrossPoint Church in Bloomington, Minnesota and as Pastor of Collegiate Ministries at First Evangelical Free Church in Austin, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from The University of Texas at Austin and started a career as a graphic designer upon graduation. Trusting God's call to ministry, he left Austin in 1989 to pursue a Master of Divinity at Denver Seminary in Colorado. In May 2007, he completed his Doctor of Ministry at Dallas Theological Seminary.
David is co-founder of Beta Upsilon Chi (Brothers Under Christ), a national Christian fraternity, and has served on the Executive Board. He is part of leadership teams advancing a senior pastor's prayer initiative throughout the greater Fort Worth and Arlington areas. His commitment to personal discipleship and world missions has taken him and his family to China, Russia, Ukraine, Spain, Hong Kong, Estonia, Mexico, Ethiopia and Cuba on short-term trips. He was a contributing writer for Discipleship Journal and, more recently, is an article contributor for the 2011 Quest Study Bible. David enjoys golfing, home renovations, traveling, reading, writing, games (Scrabble, Chess and Settlers of Catan) and any time with his wife, Tiffany; sons, Grant and Pearson; and daughter, Jenna.
He grew up in Arlington, attended Lamar High School and came to know Jesus Christ personally through the influence of Pantego Bible Church in 1983. His personal mission statement —"Making God famous by making disciples who are changed by God to change their world"—expresses his vision of life transformation that ends in the ultimate goal of God’s glory. His favorite verse is Acts 20:24 —"However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace."
