Worship

To worship God is to respond to who He is and to what He has done in our lives and is one our Core Practices. In both the Old and New Testaments, the people of God are called to worship Him as Creator, Redeemer, Deliverer and as Father.

When asked, "What is the greatest commandment," Jesus replied, "Love the Lord Your God with all of your heart, all of your soul, all of your mind and all of your strength." At Pantego Bible Church our desire is to encourage every follower of Christ to do just that. The expression of corporate worship gives us all the opportunity to connect to God on Sunday morning and throughout the week. It is our hope that through biblical messages, contemporary music and other creative arts, the entire worship ministry will inspire you to become fully-developing followers of Christ.

Our worship ministry involves three main aspects:

In order to help our musicians and worship ministry volunteers stay connected with their community groups and home groups, we offer three geographically based worship teams. These three teams are composed of individuals who are involved in communities in our surrounding areas. We refer to these teams as the North Worship Team, the Central Worship Team, and the South Worship Team.

Each team is directed by one of our worship pastors and leads the church in worship for two consecutive weeks and then breaks for four weeks.

PBC Media is a ministry of Pantego Bible Church which produces the various forms of media necessary to advance the vision and mission of Pantego Bible Church in a contemporary manor.

Two Sunday volunteer teams rotate so that everyone involved is able to be involved in other areas of the ministries. Team positions include everyone from camera and song lyric operators to video engineers and directors. During the week, the Media Ministry produces graphics and videos needed for the many various needs of our ministries.

Many of our team volunteers have little to no previous experience and, with training provided, eagerly jump in to be a vital part of the ministry here to help change lives!

If you’re interested in participating in the ministry of worship as a member of the worship band or the vocal group we invite you to audition with us. You can begin the process by contacting Christie Lee

The worship ministry will direct your returned packet to the appropriate worship team based on where you live and/or which community group you are involved in.

If you’re not up to auditioning consider being a part of our worship choirs. The choirs participate on occasional Sundays so be on the lookout for announcements about when the choirs are gearing up (no auditions required).
