The Holy Spirit gives good gifts to each one of God’s children. Look at this list of the major spiritual gifts named in the New Testament to determine which gift(s) you might have. LEARNING GIFTS Knowledge—Ability to unpack the deep mysteries of God’s revelation Teaching—Ability to clearly explain/apply Scriptures so that others understand Preaching—Authoritative, compelling proclamation that moves people to action LEADING GIFTS Wisdom—Divine insight in solving problems, defending the faith, resolving conflicts, giving practical advice Faith—An extraordinary ability to pursue great exploits for God Discernment—Ability to detect truthfulness or deception at work Leadership—Ability to cast vision, motivate, and direct people to accomplish God’s will together Evangelism—Divine enablement to clearly present the Gospel in a way that leads people to faith Administration—Ability to plan and execute procedures to accomplish goals LOVING GIFTS Serving—Special capacity to see and meet the needs of others Encouragement—Strengthening the Body toward good works and godly living Generosity—Compulsion to give personal resources to accomplish God’s purposes Mercy—Cheerfully and practically help those who are hurting or in need NOT SURE WHICH GIFT IS YOURS?
